Our marketing and logistics office in Waterloo, Belgium, oversees the management and administration of Methanex’s sales and logistics operations in Europe.
Although Methanex does not have production facilities in Europe, we draw on our network of storage terminals that give us access to approximately 135,000 tonnes storage capacity in 7 locations (6 countries). From these storage locations, we distribute methanol by ship, barge, truck and pipeline to our customers.
In addition to managing the logistics of delivering methanol to our European customers, staff members in our Waterloo office are also responsible for customer service, Responsible Care, ISO, finance and accounting, and human resources management.
